Ventura Hydraulic & Machine Works, Inc. worked closely with Nabors Drilling International in their development of their lift and roll systems for Rig # 702 and Rig #703. We provided them with the hydraulic cylinders and the controls for these systems. There are a total of eight (8) 18” bore cylinders and two (2) 7” bore cylinders for each rig.

This was a joint project between Mustang Engineering, Gusto MSC, William Jacob Management and StatOil. All parties involved were thrilled with our performance. Needless to say, McDermott was very satisfied and able to meet their promised tight delivery schedule to Petrobras.
